On Monday local time, nets guard Owen missed the Nets’ media day, but he was interviewed online and talked about topics such as vaccination.
Owen was absent from the media day because the local health and safety agreement in New York did not allow him to appear in the stadium, but he was interviewed live by reporters through zoom.
When a reporter asked him about his inability to play at home because he didn’t get vaccinated, Owen immediately interrupted, “please respect my privacy.” he said he didn’t want to be the focus of attention, “I’m very excited now. The last thing I want to create is such noise and interference. I’m growing up and learning from others. It’s not an easy decision, but I feel that we have a recipe for success.”
Although he said he didn’t want to talk about the topic of vaccination, he unconsciously mentioned medicine. He said he firmly believed that his judgment was correct. “I feel that we trust doctors and medical personnel too much. We are all human beings. I have done my own research and reached a personal conclusion. I support my teammates.”
“For thousands of years, we humans have been provided with natural therapies and methods on the earth. I can hardly believe that only 12 years of medical school education can master these. I think we humans are still very narrow, which leads to imperfect science.
