Spark Trader Limited reports:

Borussia Dortmund will be without MATS Hummels and Harland, who travel to Portugal for Wednesday’s Champions League Group C decider against Sporting Lisbon.

With two games remaining in the group stage, Sporting Lisbon and Dortmund meet on Wednesday in a match that will determine which of them will join group leaders Ajax in the knockout stages.

However, Dortmund will be without their two best players – MATS Hummels and MATS Harland – as they look to get back on track for the Champions League after back-to-back defeats.

Veteran striker Hamels was controversially sent off during Borussia Dortmund’s 3-1 defeat to Ajax three weeks ago.

The club had said they would appeal against the red card, but coach Marco Rose admitted last week that he did not expect the 2014 World Cup winner to return.

“We all know matz was suspended in Lisbon,” he said, suggesting Dan Axel Zagadu could replace him in central defence.

Harland, meanwhile, has missed four weeks with a hip injury.

Borussia Dortmund hope the Norwegian striker will be back in time to face Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on December 4. Borussia Dortmund have scored nine goals in just six league appearances this season.

Rose’s side head to Lisbon in good spirits, moving one point clear of Bayern Munich after a narrow win over Stuttgart at the weekend.

Sporting will take longer to recover from their 2-1 win over Wazin last Thursday.

It was their ninth win in all competitions, dating back to their last 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in Germany in September.

Doniel Mullen, who scored the winner for Borussia Dortmund in that game, is likely to lead again on Wednesday in the absence of Harland.

The 22-year-old Dutch prodigy has been in fine form, scoring his first Bundesliga goal against Stuttgart on Saturday.
